If you already had stress or worries before the Coronavirus, it must be that much harder!
You might feel overwhelmed, or that talking to friends and family isn’t helping. Or it helps in the moment but returns.

I want to help you manage and decrease stress and worry.with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy or CBT.

Mary Cross, CBT Therapist

You might be ruminating (thinking about past events, “mistakes” or conversations) or worrying about future events “what if”. These thoughts can cause you stress, make it harder to fall asleep and get in the way of your life. You might have a lot on your plate to juggle and need some help with stress reduction. I can help!

My Approach

I’d like to get to know you, your history and what’s worrying you. I’d like to support you (maybe challenge you a bit to change unhelpful thoughts or actions) 😉 Give you other ways at look at it, and tools and techniques to help you feel less stressed and worried.

CBT for Stress and Worry

I use Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), my care and concern, training and other approaches as needed to do this.

Using CBT I empower you to essentially become your own therapist. This is because the change needs to come from you – from learning about what stress and worries really are, what helpful worrying versus unhelpful worrying is, and how to change your worried thinking.. You might also need support to decrease your stress level and add some new tools for coping better.
